Ninja Star VS Ninja Bat • AcroYoga Washing Machine • YogaSlackers Sam & Raquel
There are two distinct variations of the classic Ninja Star washing machine. In this short video, we play with both: Ninja Bat and Ninja Star. The difference between the two sequences is very subtle.
Ninja Bat substitutes back flying with straddle bat. While it is not the original flow, Ninja Bat is probably the most utilized variation of this beautiful sequence developed by Lux from Seattle Acro.

@@Yogaslackers It was pretty tough. I just picked a couple things to try. I was working on the knee exposure and I got that for a few seconds. Was concerned about getting whipped in the face though so I didn't really commit yet. Then I was trying to weight shifts in normal exposure and couldn't quite shift my weight but made some progress.

Thanks! How much time is needed to achieve the last phase? Considering that I can open my shoulders 180 degrees if doing slide away from the wall or scissors and can do about 10s handstand (but not consistent yet) and would like to work on the entry/mount simultaneously

Because I lost the muscles on my arms and mostly on the palm I'll just confident to do handstand elbows to the walls Will be that the same same as handstands from the hands🙄
That’s a great option. It will help you learn the body position, gain shoulder and core strength, in addition to learning to balance from the forearms. If you feel better and want to do the drill from your hands, you will only be adding one new variant.
This is amasing 🎉 Super But not for the beginners How will a beginners get to do a handstand to have the confidence to release the fit from the scissors fro the wall and stay on the elbow handstand (the palms r weak to sustain all the body) by himself.....😢thats a big issue
Absolutely, progression is crucial. For those starting out, I recommend the "Wall Scissors" drill, which is broken down into three difficulty levels. There's also a preliminary "Wall Tightness Drill" for building foundational strength. Advance to the next level only when you feel strong and secure enough. Patience and gradual improvement are essential. Remember, the key tip from this video is to properly align your forearms. Keep practicing, and stay consistent!

The eLine Light slackline kit comes with non lockers, either type will work. We use lockers with most of our teaching gear to add an extra layer of security.
